Hello all.

I have Toad 9.0.1 and I try to use sql*loader to load my data to oracle database, but I could not find it. Would you to tell me where can I find sql*loader in my Toad 9.0.1.

Thanks much.

Nowhere.

It is Oracle utility and has to be installed as a part of an Oracle product (it could be, for example, any of Oracle databases or, if you want to install SQL*Loader only, Oracle Client software).

P.S. TOAD would then use Oracle's SQL*Loader utility - you'd have to set a path to the executable file in the "View - Options ... - Executables section".

Do yourself a favor and lay off of TOAD for a few weeks.
Then you will be able to use the standard Oracle tools, which in turn will help you when you'd switch jobs and they turn out not to use TOAD in the new shop.

Excellent point Frank.

I am so glad when I started out that these GUI tools weren't around. They do make life easier, but it is important to understand what is happening when you simply "click" to do something.
