DO somebody know that sqlldr80 can be used on ORACLE 8.1.7? we have a lot of application codes which current use sqlldr80 on ORACLE 8.05. Due to upgrade 8.1.7, the DBA said we must change all the codes that have sqlldr80 to sqlldr. It will take us too much time to search all the application codes and change them. Does somebody has some good ideas that let us do not change the codes ? (such as using sqlldr80 to call sqlldr)

You could copy sqlldr to sqlldr80 so when it calls sqlldr80 it will run the right version. You would have to test it but it should work. If you upgrade you will have to remember to do it again and it has to be in the PATH. Might be better to take the time and change your code.
