I am using expdp to export some tables, which is taking long time to complete. I use the following parameters :

DUMPFILE, SCHEMAS, INCLUDE, DIRECTORY, PARALLEL, LOGFILE, STATUS

Can someone suggest any method so that the expdp can complete faster?

It would be helpful if you followed Posting Guidelines - http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/88153/0/

export smaller or fewer tables

You can't push a string.

If oracle 11 and Enterprise Edition and advanced compression, compression might help

Before it took almost 10 hours to export using datapump of around 500 GB and 2 months later, it took 24 hours to take export of 690 GB.

I checked the number of cpu's by looking at the cpu_count and the value is 12. The parallel option is set to 9. Please suggest any method so that it takes considerably less time to complete?

Did you investigate where time is spent?
Have you recorded cpu and io consumption?
If you don't where time is spent and which resource is blocking you cannot improve the performances (and this is true for all performances problem).
